operators, not intermediaries.
Settld is founded by people who have run African payments at scale, integrated with every rail on the continent, and know exactly where the failure modes are. We built the company we wished existed when we were trying to collect African payments for someone else.

settled means settled.
When we say a transaction is done, it is done: collected, taxed, invoiced, defended and paid out. Certainty is the product.
- 02 / 04
built for regulated markets.
We operate where the rules are hard and getting them right is the moat. Compliance is designed in, never retrofitted.

africa-native.
The rails, the regulation and how people actually pay here are not edge cases to us. They are the product.

aligned with our merchants.
We are the seller of record, so our obligations to your customers are structural. We succeed only when you collect.

Warren Ross
Making African subscription revenue collectable for global software.
Warren is a chartered accountant, CA(SA), who completed his articles at Deloitte in Johannesburg. He spent six years as Executive Head of Banking at Betway Africa, building the payments operation from startup into one of the largest merchants by volume on the continent, running one of the deepest payment integration stacks in eight African markets across cards, mobile money, vouchers and instant EFT. He led the launch of South Africa's first bank-reserved stablecoin. He founded Settld to make African subscription revenue collectable for global software businesses.
Martin Venter
Martin ran technology for almost 10 years at Raging River Trading, the Johannesburg company behind Betway in Africa. Platforms like that live or die on payments performing at national scale, on the same rails Settld now runs: cards, instant EFT and mobile money. He co-founded Settld to build the collection infrastructure he spent years operating from the other side. Martin owns the platform end to end: the API, the checkout, and every per-market rail integration.
